PROFESSIONAL VICTORIES: (11) 2013 Alfred Dunhill Championship, Nanshan China Masters, 2012 Thailand Golf Championship, 2011 Masters Tournament, 2011 Joburg Open, 2010 Africa Open, Joburg Open, 2008 Madrid Masters, 2007 Open de Espana, 2006 Vodacom Tour Championship, 2005 Alfred Dunhill Championship.

As a man who has earned his private pilot’s licence, he was certainly flying high in April 2011 when he won the Masters Tournament for his first Major Championship title. He is only the second player to win three consecutive Sunshine Tour Order of Merit titles between 2005 (the year he won his first European Tour title, the Dunhill Championship on home soil) and 2007.

Fulfilled a childhood dream when he represented South Africa alongside close friend Louis Oosthuizen at the 2011 Mission Hills World Cup. Made a fine start to the 2013 campaign by winning the Alfred Dunhill Championship by a staggering 12 shots, a feat he repeated in 2014, as he continued his love affair with the event, this time prevailing by four shots over Richard Finch.

He is no stranger in Thailand as he won the 2012 Thailand Golf Championship. He will be aiming for a successful debut at the 2014 Chiangmai Golf Classic presented by PTT.
