Jason Dufner will make his debut at the 2014 Chiangmai Golf Classic presented by PTT. He won his first Major title at the 2013 PGA Championship when he defeated Jim Furyk of the United States by two shots. His victory was highlighted by a second round 63 which tied the record for all-time lowest round in a Major.
Before his Major win, Dufner secured his first PGA Tour title at the 2012 Zurich Classic of New Orleans when he defeated Ernie Els, who played in the Chiangmai Golf Classic presented by PTT last year, on the second play-off hole. Three weeks later, he secured his second PGA Tour title at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
He started playing golf at St. Thomas Aquinas High School during his sophomore year. In college, he was a walk-on at Auburn University, where he earned Honorable Mention All-American in 1997.
